very interesting hole and a hard par. It's the last of what we call the "Amen
Corner" of the Dunes, holes 8,9,10 & 11. If you can shoot one or two over on these
four holes you have played well. The drive is back up the valley next to the 10th
hole and then you approach up the hill to a green with a huge hump in the middle
and a large semi pot bunker in front to catch all short approaches. Try to keep
your approach left of the bunkers and hope the hill on the green holds the ball
from running over. This is a tough hole to par because your approach is so uphill
that shots don't hold the green.
a weak drive and left with 180 yds uphill. Hit a hard draw to get around the trees
and slipped it by the large front bunker. 5 iron got near the green and made an
8 footer for par.
Tip: Keep you drive right side and the approach shot left of the bunker. Take
one more club to get on or near the green.
